For personalized service, you have your own BA Urban team that analyzes and manages your specific inventory. Your team focuses on the volume of properties as well as the location and economic condition of each community. We review every aspect of the process which includes community, competition, costs, and potential buyers to develop a strategy for your inventory.

Our professional REO asset management team carefully assesses each REO property for home ownership to determine the most appropriate sales and marketing plan.  Through our REO network of urban specialists, disposition of the generally difficult-to-sell properties in the urban markets are capitalized on because our agents are located in and actively involved in these urban communities. Our REO Broker Network
Although BA Urban works with brokers in all communities, we offer a unique opportunity for clients to work with a diverse network of 450 active brokers, 40% of which are minority and urban specialists.

Not every broker who applies to be a BA Urban broker gets approved. Those who successfully become part of our network have the same goal in mind: maintain the property at the highest standard, list the property at a fair market price and dispose of the property as soon as possible.

BA Urban REO brokers are carefully screened and must have the following attributes:
  • Have direct REO sales experienced in urban communities
  • Be a member of respected, industry-related organizations and associations
  • Have solid knowledge of both the local urban retail and investor real estate markets
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all applicable state laws and regulations
  • Be financially sound and responsible as well as licensed and insured
  • Be willing to proactively market, including offering new home ownership seminars to prospective buyers
  • Be able to handle multiple REO homes and act as property manager if tenant is still in home
  • Be able to meet aggressive timelines such: 
    • Thorough BPO completion within 72 hours
    • Ability to provide delinquent tax and municipal utility information within one week
    • Completion of initial occupancy check within 24 hours
    • Weekly occupancy checks on occupied properties
    • Completion of marketing reports every 30 days
